ONLINE applications are invited by RRBs from eligible Indian Nationals and other nationals as per this CEN for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories i.e. Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor; Station Master; Goods Train Manager; Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist; Senior Clerk Cum Typist, in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.

Age Limit:
The lower and upper age limit indicated for the post(s) in the Vacancy Table will be reckoned as on 01.01.2025.
For 7th CPC Level 5 and 6 (Graduate level Posts), the Date of Birth of candidates should be between the dates given below (both dates inclusive):
Age Group: 18 to 36
» Lower Limit of Date of Birth (Not later than) – For all community / categories – 01.01.2007
» Upper Limit of Date of Birth (Not earlier than):
- UR & EWS – 02.01.1989
- OBC Non-Creamy Layer – 02.01.1986
- SC/ST – 02.01.1984
Note: Candidates belonging to the community/category will be eligible for relaxation in age limit as applicable.
Exam Fee:
Candidates applying for the posts in this CEN have to pay the prescribed fee as per their category detailed below:

Selection Process:
Stages of Exam:
There shall be two stage Computer Based Test (CBTs) followed by “Computer based Aptitude Test (CBAT)/ Typing Skill Test (TST) wherever applicable”
- Computer based Aptitude Test for Station Master and
- Typing Skill Test for Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist.
- For Goods Train Manager, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, there shall be two stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.
Short Listing for Various Stages:
- RRB wise short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 15 times the vacancies
- The short listing for Computer Based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test shall be to the extent of 8 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration) based on the merit of the candidates in 2nd Stage CBT. When a candidate is qualified in 1st stage CBT & shortlisted for subsequent stages as OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD he/she will continue to be considered as OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD respectively in all subsequent stages.
Negative Marking:
- There shall be negative marking for incorrect answer in CBTs. Deduction of 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be made for each wrong answer.
