Asian Wrestling Championships 2022

Asian Wrestling Championships 2022 was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 19 April to 24 April, 2022. It was the 35th edition of the Asian Wrestling Championships.

In the Asian Wrestling Championships 2022, a total of 19 nations competed. India won a total of 17 medals, which includes 1 Gold, 5 Silver and 11 Bronze.

In Men’s freestyle, with the points of 152 India secured 2nd position in team ranking while in Men’s Greco-Roman, India secured 6th with 113 points.

On the other hand, in Women’s freestyle, India secured 4th position in team ranking with 137 points.

  • Indian wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya clinched his third straight Asian Championship gold medal with a dominating performance in the Men’s freestyle 57kg category.
