National:
  • The 15th Finance Commission (FC) presented its final report titled “Finance Commission in Covid Times” for the five fiscal years from 2021-22 to 2025-26 to President Ram Nath Kovind on November 09, 2020. The 15th Finance Commission led by N K Singh.
    Reports having four volumes, first & second has contained the main report regarding the vertical and horizontal tax devolution and grants to local bodies and disaster management, volumes third and fourth has dedicated to the central and state governments respectively.
Book:
  • The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu virtually launched the book titled “Thavaasmi: Life and Skills through the lens of Ramayana”, on 06 November, 2020.
    The Author of the books is Shri Rallabandi Srirama Chakradhar & Co-author of the book is Smt Amara Sarada Deepthi. This book has four volumes. It presents the story of Ramayana as a dialogue between a father and daughter.
Bihar Assembly Election 2020:
  • Bihar Assembly Election 2020 result was declared late night, on 10 November 2020. Bihar has 243 assembly constituencies. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has won 125 seats while Mahagathbandhan won 110 seats.

Indian Photo Festival 2020:
  • The sixth edition of the Indian Photo Festival 2020 will be held virtually in Hyderabad. 20 finalists will be exhibited at the Indian Photo Festival Hyderabad from 12th Nov to 13th Dec 2020.
    The Print Exhibitions will be installed along the lush green, outer walking trail of the picturesque Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park, Hyderabad. Digital Exhibitions will be showcased at The State Gallery of Art, Madhapur. Some fascinating Virtual 3D Exhibitions will be presented online.
International:
  • A Virtual Bilateral Summit between Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Italy Prof. Giuseppe Conte was held on 6th November, 2020.
    During Summit, Both countries leaders discussed the wide range of issues including political, economic, scientific & technological, space and defence cooperation.
Business:
  • McDonald’s has announced it will introduce plant-based burgers, chicken substitutes and breakfast sandwiches. It will introduce a line of plant-based meat alternatives called “McPlant” in 2021.
Sports:
  • Human resources executive Alia Zafar has been included among four new Pakistan Cricket Board directors. She is the first time female director of PCB. Alia Zafar has been appointed for two-year terms.
Death:
  • Chief Palestinian Negotiator Saeb Erekat died, on 10 November, 2020. He was 65.
