- Air Marshal Vijay Pal Singh Rana, Vishisht Seva Medal took over as Air Officer-in-charge Administration (AOA) on 01 February 2021.
For his distinguished service, he was awarded with Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 Jan 2014 by the President of India.
Appointment of Director General (Inspection & Safety):
- Air Marshal GS Bedi, Ati Vishisht Sewa Medal, Vayusena Medal, Vishisht Sewa Medal took over as Director General (Inspection & Safety) on 01 February 2021.
For his distinguished service, he was awarded with Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 2010, and Ati Vishisht Seva Medal on 26 January 2020 by the President of India.
'Chiefs of Air Staff Conclave' at AERO INDIA 2021:
- The Chiefs of Air Staff Conclave held at ‘Aero India 2021’ at Air Force Station, Yelahanka on 03 February 2021.
Chiefs of Air Staff of more than 24 countries are attended the conclave physically and 16 virtually.
The theme of the two-day event was “Leveraging Aerospace Power for Security and Stability”.
Indian Ocean Region Defence Ministers’ Conclave:
- India hosted Indian Ocean Region (IOR) Defence Ministers’ Conclave on February 04, 2021 on the margins of Aero India 2021-Asia’s largest Aero show held at Bengaluru from February 3 to 5 February, 2021.
The broad theme of the conclave was “Enhanced Peace, Security and Cooperation in the Indian Ocean”.
