2021 Asian Wrestling Championships

The 34th edition of Asian Wrestling Championships has been organised from 13 April to 18 April, 2021 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Both Iran and Kazakhstan topped the medal table with a total of 17 medals, while India finished third with 14 medals, which includes 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 6 Bronze.

At the Asian Wrestling Championships 2021, a total of 11 nations competed.

List of Indian Wrestler who won medals at 2021 Asian Wrestling Championships:

Gold Medal Winners:

  1. Divya Kakran- 72 kg Women’s freestyle
  2. Anshu Malik- 57 kg Women’s freestyle
  3. Vinesh Phogat- 53 kg Women’s freestyle
  4. Sarita Mor- 59 kg Women’s freestyle
  5. Ravi Kumar Dahiya – 57 kg Men’s freestyle

Silver Medal Winners:

  1. Sakshi Malik- 65 kg Women’s freestyle
  2. Deepak Punia- 86 kg Men’s freestyle
  3. Bajrang Punia- 65 kg Men’s freestyle

Bronze Medal Winners:

  1. Seema Bisla- 50 kg Women’s freestyle
  2. Pooja Sihag- 76 kg Women’s freestyle
  3. Karan Mor- 70 kg Men’s freestyle
  4. Satyawart Kadian- 97 kg Men’s freestyle
  5. Narsingh Yadav- 79 kg Men’s freestyle

In Men’s freestyle, with the points of 151 India secured 2nd position in team ranking while in Men’s Greco-Roman, India secured 7th with 72 points.

On the other hand, in Women’s freestyle, India secured 2nd position in team ranking with 168 points.
