The 25th edition of “International Film Festival of Kerala” 2021 was organised by Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, on behalf of Department of Cultural Affairs, Govt of Kerala.
Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the 25th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) on 10 February 2021.
IFFK was conducted in four different regions:
Thiruvananthapuram- 10 to 14 February 2021
Kochi- 17 to 21 February 2021
Thalassery- 23 to 27 February 2021
Palakkad- 01 to 05 March 2021
25th International Film Festival of Kerala Awards
Lifetime Achievement award- 2020:
Veteran French film maker Jean-Luc Godard has been selected for the Lifetime Achievement award- 2020 for his contributions to the ‘New Wave’ film movement.
FFSI KR Mohanan Award for Best Debut Director from India:
Akshay Indikar, for ‘Chronicle of Space/Sthalpuran’
