The 2021 Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Championships (officially known as the TotalEnergies BWF World Championships 2021) was an annual badminton tournament held in Huelva, Spain from 12 December to 19 December 2021.

India won a total of 2 medals including 1 silver and 1 bronze in the championship.
  • Indian badminton player Srikanth Kidambi won silver medal in Men’s singles.
  • Indian badminton player Lakshya Sen won bronze medal in Men’s singles.

Winner: Takuro Hoki (Japan) & Yugo Kobayashi (Japan)

Runner up: He Jiting (China) & Tan Qiang (China)

Women’s doubles:

Winner: Chen Qingchen (China) & Jia Yifan (China)

Runner up: Lee So-hee (South Korea) & Shin Seung-Chan (South Korea)

Mixed Doubles:

Winner: Dechapol Puavaranukroh (Thailand) & Sapsiree Taerattanachai (Thailand)

Runner up: Yuta Watanabe (Japan) & Arisa Higashino (Japan)
