- Vangapandu Prasad Rao died on 04 august 2020, at his residence in Parvathipuram of Vizianagaram district because of cardiac arrest. He was 77. He was a revolutionary writer and singer.
- Rajyotsava award winning Tatvapada singer Dadapeer Manjarla died of prolonged illness in Manjarla village in Raichur taluk. He was 55.
Longest serving Director of National School Of Drama, Theatre doyen and legendary teacher Ebrahim Alkazi died because of heart attack on 04 august 2020. He was 94.
