PM Narendra Modi receives Cyprus’ highest civilian honour, the Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III in Limassol
The President of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, conferred upon Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Cyprus’s honour – the “Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III” on 16 June 2025.
PM Modi described the Grand Cross as a symbol of the deepening ties between India and Cyprus and a reaffirmation of the shared commitment to uphold peace, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and prosperity.
This honour was conferred on the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, when he was on an official visit to Cyprus from 15 to 16 June 2025.
