World Cadet Championship 2021

The World Cadet Championship 2021 was held from 19 July to 25 July, 2021 at Budapest, Hungary.

The Cadet World Championship is a yearly event organized by United World Wrestling. The World Championships is held under Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Women category.

Indian Winners:

» India won 13 medals, including 5 Gold, 1 Silver and 7 Bronze at the World Championships.

» Aman Gulia (in the 48 kg weight category) and Sagar Jaglan (in the 80 kg weight category) had made Team India the World Champions for the first time in its history, by winning the title in the men’s freestyle competition.

» In this championship, India stood first in the Cadets Freestyle Teams Ranking while India stood second in the Cadets Women’s Wrestling Teams Ranking. India was ranked 10th in the Cadets Greco-Roman Teams Ranking.
