2020 UEFA Euro: European Football Championship

The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, also known as UEFA Euro 2020, was the 16th edition of UEFA European Championship. It was held from 11 June to 11 July 2021, with 11 host cities.

The International men’s football championship of Europe was organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

The official mascot of Euro 2020 tournament was Skillzy, unveiled in March 2019.

2020 UEFA Euro Final:

» The final match of Euro 2020 took place on 11 July 2021 at Wembley Stadium in London.

» Italy defeated England to win the European Football Championship title.

» Italy won the Henri Delaunay Cup on penalties 3-2 in the final following a 1–1 draw after extra time.

» Italy won the European Championship for the first time since 1968. This was the second European Championship title of Italy.

Award Winners at Euro 2020:

Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was named the UEFA EURO 2020 Player of the Tournament. Gianluigi is the first goalkeeper to win Player of the Tournament. Spain midfielder Pedri, 18, was named UEFA EURO 2020 Young Player of the Tournament. Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo won the EURO 2020 Alipay Top Scorer award.
