19th edition of the Pune International Film Festival:
  • The 19th edition of the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) is scheduled to be held between March 4 and 11 in the year 2021.
    PIFF will reach out to its audience in two formats, online and in cinemas.
Ambikatanayadatta National Award:
  • Writer & Critic, ‘H S Shivaprakash’ has been conferred with the prestigious ”Ambikatanayadatta National Award” on January 31, by Da Ra Bendre National Memorial Trust in Dharwad.

MoU Between India & Uzbekistan:

Death:
  • Rajasthan Congress MLA Gajendra Singh Shaktawat died in Delhi on 20 January 2021. He was 48. He represented Vallabhnagar constituency of Udaipur.

  • Gujarat Chief Minister, Vijay Rupani has decided to rename Dragon fruit as ‘Kamalam’, which means lotus in Sanskrit.
