- 3rd G20 Finance Minister and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meet held at Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) dated on 18 July 2020. The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman participated in virtual meet and emphasized about G20 Action Plan, which includes list of collective commitments under the pillars of economic response, health response, strong & sustainable recovery & G20 effort to fight in corona virus pandemic.
- IOC reduced the candidature budget for winter Olympic 2026, average budget amount will be less then USD 5 million. Reduction in cost was direct result of implementation of recommendation 3 of Olympic Agenda 2020. In previous winter Olympic 2022 budget is approximately USD 35 million.
