  • 3rd G20 Finance Minister and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meet held at Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) dated on 18 July 2020. The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman participated in virtual meet and emphasized about G20 Action Plan, which includes list of collective commitments under the pillars of economic response, health response, strong & sustainable recovery & G20 effort to fight in corona virus pandemic. 
  • IOC reduced the candidature budget for winter Olympic 2026, average budget  amount will be less then USD 5 million. Reduction in cost was direct result of implementation of recommendation 3 of Olympic Agenda 2020. In previous winter Olympic 2022 budget is approximately USD 35 million. 
  • 11-year-old Samridhi Kalia’s, a Dubai-based Indian girl has broken the world record for performing 100 yoga poses within minutes in a confined space. this was the third world record entry of her. Performance was recorded at Iconic Burj Khalifa’s viewing deck. 
  • Filmmaker director of popular movie Road, Rajat Mukherjee passed away in Jaipur due to kidney ailments.
  • Roshni Nadar Malhotra becomes new chairman of Noida based IT – Company HCL technologies. she is in the list of “the world’s 100 most powerful women” & list released by Forbes from 2017 through 2019.
