DRDO Indigenously Developed System & Award Ceremony:
- Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh on December 18, 2020 handed over three indigenously developed Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) systems to Army, Navy and Air Force at a function held in DRDO Bhawan.
These three systems are Indian Maritime Situational Awareness System (IMSAS), ASTRA Mk-I Missile, & Border Surveillance System (BOSS).
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh awarded the DRDO scientists for outstanding contributions in various categories.
DRDO Lifetime Achievement Award – 2018 to Shri N V Kadam for his contributions for developing control and guidance schemes for missiles
Excellence awards were given to academia and industry for technology absorption.

- Eminent businessman RN Shetty has died due to a cardiac arrest in Bengaluru on December 17, 2020. He was 92. He was a philanthropist person & he built tunnels for the railways, dams, canals, bridges, and buildings in various parts of Karnataka and neighboring states.
