- In Bihar Legislative Assembly, NDA candidate Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha has been elected as the Speaker on 25 November 2020. Shri Sinha got 126 votes out of 240 MLAs voting. 121 votes were required for the post of speaker. The new speaker Mr. Sinha is the BJP MLA for the third consecutive time from Lakhisarai. Mr. Awadh Bihari of Mahagathbandhan got 114 votes.
- Andhra Pradesh CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy launched ‘Jagananna Thodu’ scheme, on November 25, 2020 & deposited Rs 905 cr for interest free loan to 9.05 lakhs eligible small traders. Under the scheme, Interest-free loans up to Rs 10,000 will be provided to small traders.

- Bharat Dynamics announced that Dr G. Satheesh Reddy, Chairman, DRDO flagged off the first Varunastra, delivered to the Indian Navy, at a ceremony held at BDL, Visakhapatnam Unit on November 21, 2020.
Varunastra, the Heavy Weight Torpedo has been designed and developed by Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), Visakhapatnam.
International:
SIMBEX-20:
- Indian Navy (IN) hosted the 27th edition of India-Singapore Bilateral Maritime Exercise SIMBEX-20 from 23 November to 25 November, 2020 in Andaman Sea.
The SIMBEX series of exercises between IN and Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) is being conducted annually since 1994. It is aimed at enhancing mutual inter-operability and imbibing best practices from each other.
Summit:
- A first-ever Virtual Bilateral Summit was held between Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Luxembourg Mr Xavier Bettel on November 19, 2020.
During the Virtual Summit of India-Luxembourg, both countries acknowledged three agreements.

- Constitution Day or Samvidhan Divas is also known as “National Law Day“. On November 19, 2015, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment notified the decision of Government of India to celebrate the Constitution Day every year on 26 November. Constitution Day is celebrated in our country on 26th November every year. This day is to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
On November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from January 26, 1950.
Death:
- Senior Congress leader & Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat Ahmed Patel died at a Gurgaon hospital after a Covid infection, on November 25, 2020. He was 71.
- Argentine professional football player, Diego Armando Maradona has died on 25 November 2020. He was 60.
