Award of Appreciation in the 18th CSI SIG E-Governance Awards 2020:
- The Ministry of Tribal Affairs bagged the prestigious Award of Appreciation in the Project Category-Central Government Entity- in the 18th CSI SIG eGov Awards 2020.
The award has been given for their “Performance Dashboard Empowering Tribals Transforming India through various ICT initiatives”.
The award was received by the Joint secretary of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Dr. Navaljit Kapoor from the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji in Lucknow, on 12 February 2021.
The Computer Society of India (CSI) has instituted a series of awards for recognizing the contributions made in the field of e-Governance in the country. These awards have been conducted by CSI-SIGegov.
8th National Race Walking Championship at Ranchi:
- At the 8th National Race Walking Championship held at Ranchi, Athletes of ASI created history by breaking National Record, & Qualifying for Tokyo Olympics 2021.
Nb Sub Sandeep Kumar of 16 JAT Regiment won Gold medal and created a new National Record with timing of 1:: 20.16sec & Gdr Rahul of 18 Grenadiers secured Silver medal with timing of 1::20.26sec both the athletes secured berth for Tokyo 2021.

- Former European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi was formally sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Italy on 13 February 2021.
Israel's Prestigious Genesis Prize 2021:
- American Filmmaker Steven Spielberg has been awarded Israel’s prestigious Genesis Prize 2021.
The prize has been given in the recognition of his contribution to cinema, his philanthropic works and his efforts to preserve the memory of the Holocaust.
The Genesis Prize was inaugurated in 2014 and is run in a partnership between the private Genesis Prize Foundation and the chairman’s office of the Jewish Agency.

Indian Winner at Dubai:
On 11 February 2021, at the 12th Fazza International World Para Athletics Grand Prix event, Para-athletes Devender Kumar and Nimisha Suresh Chakkungalparambil won a gold medal.
Devender cleared a distance of 50.61m in his second attempt to take the gold in men’s discus throw F-44 event.
Nimisha claimed the gold medal in women’s long jump F46/47 event with an effort of 5.25m.
